Honey Bee Remedy Tea

šŸÆ Meet HoneyBee Tea

A Sweet Sip for the Season

The seasons are shifting, and with that comes the sniffles, the sneezes, and the cozy nights curled under a blanket. Cold and flu season has officially arrived, and if your house is anything like mine, you’re on a mission to keep everyone healthy, happy, and hydrated.

This year, I wanted to create something simple yet effective. A tea that comforts little throats and boosts their immunity without a fuss. Think of the Medicine Ball tea from Starbucks, but kid friendly and way more powerful. My son, who normally refuses tea of any kind, happily drinks a full cup of this one (which, if you’re a mama, you know is a small miracle).

And the best part? The tea itself is a natural, bacteria-fighting blend and it only takes three ingredients. My boys even helped name it: HoneyBee Tea. šŸ Instead of trying to figure out how to package it to sell, I wanted to just give away the recipe for you and your household.

šŸ’› Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

• 1 teaspoon of dried thyme

• 1 cinnamon stick

• 1 tablespoon (or more!) of honey

Instructions:

1. Steep the thyme and cinnamon stick in freshly boiled water for 10 minutes. I like to use a mini 12 oz french press for less mess.

2. Add the honey to the bottom of your favorite teacup. I give my boys little espresso cups because it's the perfect size for them.

3. Pour the tea over the honey, stir gently, and enjoy while it’s warm.

🌿 Why it works:

Thyme is naturally antibacterial and soothing for coughs and sore throats. Cinnamon adds warmth and helps reduce inflammation, and honey — that golden nectar — coats and calms irritated throats while adding just the right amount of sweetness.

It’s the perfect comfort drink for chilly mornings, after-school wind-downs, or those first signs of a scratchy throat.

ā˜• A Note from My Heart

There’s something special about making remedies at home — simple, natural, and filled with love. HoneyBee Tea isn’t just a recipe; it’s a reminder that sometimes the most healing things come from the humblest ingredients.

So next time the sniffles make their way into your home, brew a pot of HoneyBee Tea, wrap up in a blanket, and sip slowly. I hope this tea brings relief and health to your home and warmth to your heart.

From my kitchen to yours,

šŸ’› Britt
