The Darling Drip began with one simple longing: a quiet moment in the middle of a chaotic day.

 

For founder Britt Mediana, tea was never just about what filled the cup. It was about creating a softer rhythm in the middle of a loud world. A small pause to breathe, gather herself, and return to what mattered most, be it engaging fully with her kids, cooking meals for the whole family, or even unwinding at the end of the day. But as she searched for teas she could truly enjoy daily, she found herself wanting something more intentional: beautiful blends made with ingredients she could trust.

So she began blending her own.

What started as a personal ritual quickly became something deeply meaningful when Britt created Friday Breakfast. This blend is a tribute tea inspired by her late father and the Friday mornings they shared together for years. That tea became more than a recipe. It became a reminder that comfort can live in the smallest moments.

From there, tea blending became both an art and a passion. Britt learned quickly how thoughtfully chosen ingredients could support not only the experience of slowing down, but the body itself. Rose petals for the longing heart. Passionflower for anxious minds needing rest. Strawberry and ginger for a little brightness on gloomy days. Every blend was created with intention, to comfort, nourish, and gently care for the person drinking it.

Little did Britt know, what began as a personal search for peace would open the door into a world of tea she never expected.

Today, The Darling Drip is more than a tea company. It is an invitation to slow down. To fill your own cup. To create beauty in ordinary moments. And to remember that sometimes healing begins with something as simple as a warm cup of tea held quietly in your hands.
